Restore volume and lift the mid-face
Cheek fillers restore lost volume to the mid-face, lift the cheek area, and create soft, defined contours. The mid-face is one of the first areas to lose volume with age, which can give the face a tired, drawn, or downward appearance even before lines and wrinkles set in.
Replacing this volume with a hyaluronic acid filler placed in the right position lifts the area, supports the surrounding tissue, and creates a smoother transition from cheek to lower face. The right approach produces results that look natural and well proportioned.
What to expect from your treatment
Following a free consultation, where we’ll look at your mid-face proportions and decide on the right placement and volume, treatment usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Topical numbing cream is applied first.
Treatment is delivered using either needle or cannula depending on the placement plan. Some swelling, tenderness, and small bruises are normal for the first few days. Results are visible immediately, with the full settled effect usually visible at two weeks.
Results and timing
Results from cheek filler typically last between twelve and eighteen months, often longer than fillers placed in highly mobile areas like the lips. A complimentary two-week review is included.
Volume considerations
Most clients see good results from 1.1ml to 2ml of filler, distributed across both cheeks. Larger volumes are sometimes appropriate for more significant volume loss, but I always start conservatively and build over multiple appointments where needed. The aim is restored proportion, not an over-projected or pillowed look.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will cheek fillers make my face look fuller?
The aim is to restore lost volume to where it should sit, not to add bulk. Done correctly, cheek filler creates lift and definition without making the face look fuller overall. We’ll discuss volume and placement carefully at consultation.
How long do cheek fillers last?
Twelve to eighteen months for most clients. Cheek filler tends to last longer than lip filler because the mid-face area is less mobile.
Can cheek filler help with lower-face concerns like sagging or jowls?
Lifting the mid-face can have an indirect effect on the lower face by supporting overlying tissue. Whether this is the right approach for jowl concerns depends on individual anatomy. We’ll assess this at consultation.
How much will I bruise?
Bruising depends on individual factors and the technique used. Cannula placement tends to bruise less than needle placement. Most clients find any bruising resolves within a few days.
Will it feel different?
Some clients notice a feeling of fullness or tightness for the first few days, which settles as the filler integrates. Once settled, the area should feel and move naturally.
