Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers delivered by a registered nurse

Dermal fillers restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and improve skin smoothness for a naturally refreshed appearance. The fillers I use are based on hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body that gently replenishes volume and supports facial structure.

My approach centres on balance, proportion, and subtle definition. Treatments are tailored to complement your natural features, with the aim of creating soft, elegant results rather than dramatic change. Only CE-licensed, medical-grade products are used.

Appointments usually last between 30 and 45 minutes. Results can last between six and eighteen months depending on the area treated and individual lifestyle factors.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do dermal fillers last?

Most filler treatments last between six and eighteen months, depending on the area, the product used, and your own metabolism. Lip fillers tend to be on the shorter end, with structural areas like the cheek and jawline lasting longer.

When delivered by a trained, registered medical professional using CE-licensed, medical-grade products, dermal fillers have a strong safety profile. The biggest risks tend to come from poor injector training and uncertified products. Every consultation includes a full review of your medical history and a discussion of risks.

Subtle, natural results are the whole point. The dose is tailored to your existing proportions, with the aim of complementing your features rather than changing them. If you’d prefer a more pronounced result we can discuss that too, but the default is always restraint.

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using Hyalase, an enzyme that breaks the filler down so the body can reabsorb it. This is something I offer to my own clients and to clients who’ve had treatment elsewhere.

Discomfort is generally low. Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and most modern fillers contain a local anaesthetic. Lip filler tends to be the most sensitive area but is still well tolerated by most people.

There’s no real downtime. Mild swelling, tenderness, and the chance of small bruises are normal for a few days, especially with lip filler. Most clients return to their day immediately afterwards.

What to expect during your appointment

Every booking begins with a free consultation, where we look at your facial proportions, talk through what you’re hoping to achieve, and review your medical history. If treatment is suitable, we can usually proceed in the same appointment.

Treatment time depends on the area being treated. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and most modern fillers contain a local anaesthetic too, which keeps comfort levels high throughout.

Some swelling, tenderness, and occasional bruising is normal for a few days after treatment, especially with lip fillers. The full settled result is usually visible at the two-week mark, which is when we’d review the treatment together.

Lip fillers

Lip fillers can enhance shape, restore volume, and improve symmetry while maintaining a soft, natural finish. As a registered nurse, I take a conservative, personalised approach, ensuring results are balanced and suited to your facial features.
