Bunny lines are the small wrinkles that appear on either side of the bridge of the nose when you scrunch up your face, laugh, or react with surprise. They’re caused by the nasalis muscle and tend to become more visible after frown line treatment, when neighbouring muscles can begin to compensate.

Treatment relaxes the nasalis muscle, softening the lines and leaving the nose looking smoother during expression.

What to expect from your treatment

Bunny line treatment is one of the quicker areas to address, involving a small number of precise injections on each side of the nose. The whole treatment is usually completed in a few minutes.

There’s no real downtime. Mild redness or a small bump at the injection site can occur but settles within a few hours.

Results and timing

Softening starts within three to five days and is fully visible at around two weeks. Results last around three to four months. A complimentary two-week review is included.

When bunny line treatment is recommended

Bunny lines are often most noticeable in clients who have had frown treatment, as the unaffected nasalis muscle starts to work harder. If you’re new to anti-wrinkle treatment, I’ll often suggest waiting until after your frown review to assess whether bunny line treatment would add value, rather than treating preemptively.
