A Korean lash lift is a refined take on the traditional lash lift. Rather than setting every lash into one uniform curve, your natural lashes are sectioned and placed individually along a silicone shield, creating a lifted, fluttery, slightly separated finish that looks closer to a soft set of extensions than a perm.
The result is your own lashes, made to look longer and more open eyed, with no extensions to maintain and no daily curling. For most people it means being able to wake up, skip the mascara, and still look put together.

The Korean Lash Lift is a 60 minute treatment that includes:
- A patch test appointment at least 48 hours beforehand
- A gentle cleanse to remove all traces of oil and makeup
- Individual sectioning and placement of each lash onto a silicone shield
- The lifting and setting lotions, timed to suit your lash thickness
- An optional lash tint for extra depth and definition
- A nourishing keratin and bond serum to condition the lashes afterwards
What to expect afterwards
Your lashes will look lifted straight away. The lashes need to stay completely dry for the first 24 hours while the bonds finish setting, so no steam, swimming, sunbeds, hot showers or mascara during that window.
After that, there is nothing to maintain beyond brushing them through each morning and avoiding oil based makeup removers, which soften the lift. A lash lift will not damage your natural lashes when it is done properly and given enough recovery time between appointments.
How is it different to a standard lash lift?
A standard lash lift sets the lashes as one block, which gives an even curl but can look quite flat and uniform. The Korean method places lashes individually, in small sections, using a smaller shield. That takes longer, but it opens up the eye more, gives better separation, and works far better on lashes that grow in different directions or have a stubborn downward angle.
It is also gentler on shorter or finer lashes, because each lash is placed rather than forced into position.

Will it damage my natural lashes?
Not when it is done correctly and you leave enough time between appointments. The lotions are timed to your individual lash thickness rather than left on for a set period, and a conditioning serum is applied afterwards. Damage usually comes from over processing or having lifts too frequently, which is why I space appointments at six weeks minimum.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes, at least 48 hours before your first appointment, and again if more than six months have passed since your last lift. It takes two minutes and it is free, but it cannot be skipped or done on the same day.
Can I still wear mascara?
Yes, after the first 24 hours. Most clients find they need far less of it. Avoid waterproof mascara and oil based removers, as both shorten the life of the lift.
How long does the appointment take?
Around 60 minutes, or a little longer with a tint. You will be lying down with your eyes closed for most of it, so it is a genuinely relaxing appointment.
What if my lashes are very short or very straight?
The Korean method suits both better than a standard lift, because the lashes are placed individually. Very short lashes can be harder to work with, so send me a photo before booking and I will be honest about what is achievable.
